HOPE Literacy
seeks to be part of the solution to the
illiteracy problem among juvenile and adult
inmates and at risk
children in our communities.
The HOPE Literacy
program models provide a one-on-one tutorial
alternative to incarcerated youth who are
unsuccessful in a classroom setting. For

HOPE offers a
peer tutoring program for adult inmates.
Eligible inmates are trained to teach their
functionally illiterate peers to read. For

Literacy provides training to establish scalable
program models designed for an after-school
setting that can be implemented on any church or
